At Cavendish Square Private Psychiatry, we prioritise transparency regarding our fees to ensure that all potential patients are fully informed of the costs associated with our services.
Below is a detailed breakdown of all the services provided by us and a breakdown of charges related to our initial assessment appointments and follow-up appointments.
Prescriptions

Please note that there is a standard £30 fee per prescription for all prescriptions provided outside of the appointment.

We can provide the different options for collecting/receiving Controlled Drug and Non-Controlled Drug prescriptions when you request a prescription.
​
Please also note that you will need to self-fund the cost of the medications at your preferred pharmacy.
Cavendish Square Private Psychiatry does not dispense medications.
Initial Psychiatric Assessment
(approx. 60 mins)

Our Initial Psychiatric Assessment is a critical step in understanding your mental health needs and developing an effective treatment plan. During this approx. one-hour session, our Consultant Psychiatrist will conduct a thorough evaluation of your current symptoms, past history, and personal circumstances and recommend a holistic personalised treatment plan. The fee for this comprehensive assessment is £380
Initial Adult ADHD Assessment

Our Initial Adult ADHD Assessment is tailored for individuals seeking an accurate diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. This approx. two-hours assessment session involves a series of detailed standardised questionnaires, discussions, and may include consultations with other professionals if necessary. This assessment includes an initial psychiatric assessment. The total fee for this detailed assessment is £760
Neuropsychiatry Assessment
(approx. 150 mins)

Our Neuropsychiatry Assessment is designed for patients with complex needs, including memory difficulties, cognitive dysfunction and neurological symptoms. This assessment is crucial for creating a targeted treatment plan and typically lasts approx. two and half hours, which includes us of evidence-based neuro- psychological tests. This assessment includes an initial psychiatric assessment. The total fee for this assessment is £950
Any Follow-Up Appointment
(approx. 30 mins)

Our Follow-up Appointments are essential for monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans. We recommend scheduling these sessions regularly to ensure continued effectiveness of the treatment and going support. Each follow-up session lasts approximately half an hour. The fee for any type of follow-up appointment is £190
Cancellation Policy

We kindly request that all requests for rescheduling or cancelling appointments be made at least 3 working days prior to the scheduled appointment time.
This will allow us to allocate the appointment to another patient and helps you avoid incurring late cancellation fees.
Appointments that are cancelled or changed (rescheduled) within 3 working days of the scheduled appointment time will incur a late cancellation charge as outlined below:

Within 3 working days (i.e., within 72 hours, excluding weekends) of the scheduled appointment - 50% of your appointment fee will be charged.

Within 2 working day (i.e., within 48 hours, excluding weekends) of the scheduled appointment - 100% of your appointment fee will be charged.

Late Arrival and Non-Attendance Policy

If you anticipate being delayed or arriving late for your appointment, then please notify us as soon as possible, and in advance of your scheduled appointment.
Please be aware that if you arrive 15 minutes or more past the scheduled start time of your appointment, then the clinician will not be able to see you. This will be considered a non-attendance and the full appointment fee will be charged.
If you do not attend your scheduled appointment, then the full appointment fee will be charged.
Please also be aware that most insurance providers do not fund non-attendance costs, and in those cases, you would be expected to pay the full appointment fee for the non-attendance.
