About Dr. Chetan Kuloor

Dr. Kuloor is an accomplished Consultant Psychiatrist with an extensive experience of working within mental health services in the NHS for over two decades. He is a Consultant Psychiatrist at North London NHS Foundation Trust and the Medical Director for Community Mental Health Services across the five boroughs of north London (Enfield, Barnet, Haringey, Islington and Camden).

Dr. Kuloor is an expert in diagnosing and treating a wide range of common and complex psychiatric conditions in working-age adults, such as Mood Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, PTSD, Panic Disorder, Adult ADHD, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, and Neuropsychiatric conditions. Dr. Kuloor has a reputation for being a compassionate clinician, who takes time to truely understand each patient's unique experiences, and he places his patients at the heart of shared decision making.

Dr. Kuloor did his higher specialist psychiatric training at the prestigious Guy’s King’s St Thomas’ Psychiatric Training Scheme and the Maudsley Training Scheme. During his training, Dr. Kuloor also trained at renowned hospitals and highly specialised services across the UK, such as the Bipolar Disorders clinic at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford, the Neuropsychiatry and Memory Disorders clinic at St Thomas’ Hospital in London and the Gender Identity Clinic at Charing Cross Hospital. Dr. Kuloor has won numerous accolades during his training including second prize at the national undergraduate psychiatry quiz, special commendation for his scientific poster at an international conference and distinctions in his Masters degree. He was shortlisted for Going the Extra Mile (GEM) patient nominated award at North London NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr. Kuloor contributes to the field of psychiatry beyond his clinical practice. His commitment to the field is further evident in his roles as a Clinical Examiner for MBBS examinations of University College London Medical School and MRCPsych examinations of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is a College Assessor on Advisory Appointments Committee and a Regional Specialty Representative for General Adult Psychiatry in the London Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
